The
Institute is also able to bring the courses to your home or business if
the location is in or around the Central Valley area.
The cost for these courses is $25 per hour.
The beginning
level covers everyday vocabulary and regular verbs in the present and
past tenses. At the intermediate level the course focuses mainly on all
tenses in the indicative, to enable students to talk about events in the
present, past and future, and the advanced level moves quickly from
the indicative to the subjunctive mood, which it explores in depth. At all three levels there is an appropriate
grammar component. All classes also have a strong emphasis on discussion and conversation to ensure
that real progress is made in developing conversational skills. At the
intermediate and advanced levels composition and writing skills are also
stressed. Classes are enhanced by the use of movies, videos, and music
as a basis for conversation and
for short written essays.
